Kris Watson, Allied ASID

During childhood summer visits accompanying her homebuilder-grandfather around his construction sites on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Kris loved envisioning what the rough 2x4 framed-out spaces would inevitably shape into.

Kris believes Interior Design is an artful science that blends innovation and creativity with people’s individuality and unique conditions for living. A graduate of Western Carolina University’s accredited School of Interior Design (CIDA) she concentrated and minored in sustainable building construction, LEED, Art History and Fine Art.

Kris has called dynamic Asheville, NC home since 2003 and has completed varying projects from luxury home renovations, new construction of custom homes, healthcare design & corporate offices, to highly popular local restaurants and bakeries. She’s been awarded in Asheville’s Home Builder’s Association’s annual Parade of Homes and Preservation Society of Asheville & Buncombe County’s Griffin Awards for Rehabilitation. Kris is a professional Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
